What this site keeps, and what it does not.

Analytics

This site runs Umami, an open-source analytics tool, on our own server. It counts page views, the site you came from, which sections you read and which buttons you click. It stores no IP address and keeps no personal data. Two first-party cookies, vml_vid and vml_sid, mark your visit and your session so a booked call can be matched to the visit that made it. They are never shared and never leave this site. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of.

Booking a call

When you book a call, Calendly takes your name, your email and the time you choose. Calendly opens in its own tab and its own privacy policy applies there. We use what you enter to hold the call and to follow it up, and for nothing else.

When you write to michael@vermarkterlab.com, we keep the thread so we can answer you. We do not sell, share or rent anything you send us.

What is not here

No ad networks, no third-party trackers, no pixels. The only outside service the page itself loads is Google Fonts, which serves the type files and receives the request for them. While a tab is open, the page also sends a small presence signal to our own server every two minutes so our calendar tool knows when someone is reading: a random session id and the page path, nothing else. That id, and an owner marker we use on our own browsers, live in your browser only.
